BEAUTIFUL DESIGN

Our team creates unique outdoor spaces that emphasize sustainable materials, edible landscape spaces and native plantings. We are skilled listeners that can transform your initial design ideas into a well-constructed reality.

OUR DESIGN APPROACH

Our talented, highly-trained landscape design team will not only design a beautiful space, but a buildable space. Our experience as designers, builders, and landscape caretakers gives us a unique perspective – we know what looks good and what lasts.

Our ultimate goal is to create an outdoor environment that enriches your daily life. We specialize in providing long-lasting, high-quality landscape solutions that are ideal for homeowners looking to make a lasting investment in their property. If your focus is on short-term or low-budget options, we might not be the right fit – but if you’re seeking enduring quality and craftsmanship, we’d love to collaborate with you.

Check out our general design process, sample design plans, and browse the collection of design/build projects. You’ll see a range of design styles and features as our work is a direct reflection of our clients’ aesthetics and needs. Our Houzz page also gives a glimpse into more of our recent work.

Design Process

Our typical design process follows these general steps:

Design Consultation

Owner Dan’l will visit your property in-person for a free meet and greet. He will discuss your project needs and both parties can assess if it feels like a good fit.

Design Proposal

Within a few days of our initial consultation, we will send you a design proposal that includes a clear scope-of-work and design fees. Our design fees are customized to each project based on site size, complexity, design detail, 3D drawing needs, planting plan detail, etc.

Data Collection

You will send us any inspirational images you’ve collected and complete our design questionnaire. Meanwhile, we will visit your site to take detailed measurements, review sun/shade conditions, identify existing plants, and make additional observations to create a base map.

Project Kick-Off

We meet together onsite to review the images, questionnaire, base map, and discuss your project needs in detail. This is when we prioritize design interventions to keep you within budget.

Preliminary Plan Review

We will create 2D design alternatives, typically two, and review together at a meeting on-site. Our goal is to show you a range of options that meet your unique style and landscape needs, while being mindful of your construction budget. We begin discussing the installation plan, whether it’s over phases or installed at one time.

Final Master Plan

After receiving your feedback from the two preliminary plan options, we craft an illustrative 2D master plan that incorporates your chosen elements into one cohesive design. This is accompanied by a planting plan, along with images of the plants. You now have a detailed road map for your future outdoor space!

Construction Estimate

Once the master plan is complete, we begin estimating your project installation. We do our best to give accurate ballpark estimates throughout the design process. This construction estimate typically takes a couple of weeks to compile because it shows you extensive detail, down to how many boxes of nails we’ll need.

Installation

Once the construction estimate is signed and a deposit it received, you secure your place in our construction queue. This queue varies based on the time of year and how extensive your construction will be.
